On January 1st, 2020, Trident Engineered Solutions joined the Palmer Johnson Power Systems family along with Hamilton Engine. Operating behind the scenes since late 2019, Trident was founded on a belief that has existed within Palmer Johnson Power Systems for many years - that small and mid-sized OEMs deserve the same level of support that major OEMs receive from today’s major off-highway power transmission component suppliers.

With a unique blend of product expertise, engineering skills, and distributor-level product access as it relates to engines, transmissions, axles, PTOs, pump drives, and more, Trident offers what we believe to be an amazing value-proposition to our customers. Our goal is to help our existing and new customers grow by supplementing their engineering services and simplifying the buying process. We offer design and project engineering support, single-source purchasing, and complete ready-to-run packaged solutions.

Our team is nimble and ready to grow in the direction that our customers and markets require. One of our top priorities is adding an engineer with strong electrical systems and controls experience. We plan to invest to gain experience in offering e-mobility and autonomous solutions to our customers. Trident also brings the tools and skills of Palmer Johnson Power System’s fabrication center, which will help increase our value-add and supplier support.
